Hi, I’m Cathy.  When I became a mom, I was working full-time as a Vice President at a large non-profit disabilities agency. My job was fulfilling and meaningful, but the long hours and the weight of supervising a large team made my experience as a first-time mom overwhelming. I wanted to spend more time with my beautiful newborn son, but life had other plans. At the same time, my mother fell ill, leaving me at a crossroads. I made the decision to step away from my career and become a stay-at-home mom—at least for a few years.

At first, it seemed like the perfect plan... until it wasn’t. I was responsible for this sweet, complicated little human who somehow felt more challenging than managing my entire team. My mother’s health continued to decline, and I realized I didn’t have a support network of stay-at-home mom friends. I went from feeling like I was part of something bigger to feeling completely alone. Somewhere in the sleepless nights and endless days, I lost myself.

I knew something had to change. I needed guidance to navigate what should have been a wonderful and exciting transition in my life.

My Story

I needed to find my village...

About My Journey

Fast forward a bit… Eventually, I found a group of wonderful new moms who became my support system during those early years of motherhood. I found my village. But the journey to finding my community wasn’t without its struggles.

That made me think . . . why does it have to be so hard?

Each time I kept thinking . . .

why does this have to be so hard ?

Fast forward 15 years, and I am now blessed to be parenting my intelligent, creative, and amazing teenager. Once again, I find myself on the journey of seeking out a village for this stage of my life. We grow and change every day, and what we are searching for evolves right along with us.

Over these 15 years, I’ve navigated countless life transitions—becoming a new mom, losing my mother, facing several career changes, overcoming health challenges, and now, guiding my son through the teenage years. Even before I became a mom, I had worked my way through other transitions, each one shaping me in unique ways.

But this time, it's not!

This time, I have the tools to make these transitions smoother and less chaotic. This time, I am able to show up as the best version of me. And now, I want to share these tools with others—women and moms who are navigating life’s transitions and seeking clarity, balance, and fulfillment.
